Custom rugs can be adapted beyond standard rectangular, square or round shapes. This option is intended for personalised rug designs based on patterns, colour compositions, simple shapes, abstract layouts or visual styles similar to the design examples shown by Lumbro.
Depending on the design, organic outlines, irregular edges, carved details, cut pile, loop pile, mixed textures, colour changes or scale adjustments may be possible. Some designs may need to be simplified so the final rug works well as a handmade tufted piece.
For detailed illustrations, pet portraits or complex logo rugs, please choose the specific custom illustration, pet portrait or logo rug option, as these require a different design review, pricing and production process. All custom designs, shapes, finishes and adaptations are subject to feasibility approval before production.
Notes: Every piece is handmade as a unique work. Slight variations are a natural part of the process and make each rug one of a kind. Some visuals may have been created or enhanced using AI for presentation purposes. Final rugs are hand-tufted individually, so minor variations in texture, carving, colour placement, and finish are part of their handmade character.
Shipping: Custom pieces include a NZ$65 shipping deposit at checkout. For oversized pieces, an additional shipping adjustment may be required. The final delivery cost will be confirmed before dispatch depending on size, packaging, courier availability and destination.
By uploading an image, the customer confirms they own the rights to the image, artwork, illustration, pattern or reference provided, or have permission to use it for the production of a custom rug.
